I started this blog to provide a casual, recreational level of fantasy NASCAR advice and discussion. I've been playing these contests for a number of years and am annoyed by lineup sellers and groups of players using the same lineup. I'm hoping to give the casual player some help in building solid lineups that can beat that annoying crowd most of the time. I'm not a "tout" and don't do this for a living, so proceed accordingly. I hope you enjoy the discussion here and Good Luck!
As a new year of NASCAR racing approaches, I've decided to begin this blog dedicated to fantasy NASCAR racing games. Before the season starts, I'll do several posts about overall strategies and approaches to fantasy NASCAR games. I'll also do several posts summarizing off season news relevant to fantasy racing. Once the season begins, I'll do mid-week posts previewing the upcoming race and offering preliminary thoughts on driver/team targets for that weekend. During the racing weekend, I'll provide several updates with news from practice and qualifying and offer a final set of recommended drivers/teams for the race.
I'll probably spend most of my time focusing on DraftKings DFS racing games since that is where some actual money can be made. But I'll also touch on strategies and recommendations for the games on the Fantrax and NASCAR websites. If there are other platforms you play often, please let me know in the comments section so I can consider adding them to the discussion as well.
I do hope people will use the comments section to ask questions, offer suggestions for the site and provide their own fantasy racing thoughts. I'm looking forward to the start of the season in Daytona!
